Cross Words

A collection of haikus written in the form of crosswords.

Quite possibly a new poetic form.

I wrote them in and around Paris during the second half of 2020, when the world was falling into chaos.

There are 20 original haikus in all, equaling the number of arrondissements, or districts, that make up the French capital.

To read them, first you must solve the corresponding crosswords.

And they're not always easy.

Because when the times are uneasy, the poems should be too.
